| Energotel Targets New Customer Segments with Next- Generation Network |

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - July 7, 2009 – Cisco today announced that Slovak telecommunications operator Energotel has deployed a Cisco® Internet Protocol Next-Generation Network (IP NGN) based on Cisco's optical networking and routing technologies. The new backbone spans more than 2,500 km (1,553 miles) and connects 150 cities. The IP NGN infrastructure provides increased network capacity and helps enable Energotel to enter the market of wholesale data transit services with integrated voice, video and data. |
